Joel David Wallace is currently the lead guitarist for Country superstar Jake Owen. Hailing from Louisiana, Wallace began his music career playing blues in the Baton Rouge, and New Orleans area. Playing for Louisiana artist Rockin’ Tabby Thomas, at Tabby’s Blues box every night allowed Wallace the opportunity to share the stage with many great artists such as Gate Mouth Brown, Chris Thomas King and Kenny Neal. Forming his own band years later opened the door for more versatile guitar skills, and he began to really thrive under the influence of great guitarist such as Danny Gatton, Larry Carrolton and Joe Pass. In 2006 Wallace joined Nashville Columbia recording artists Cole Deggs and the Lonesome, starting his career as a Nashville touring musician. In March of 2008, Wallace began working with Jake Owen and can be seen on stage with Jake over 150 times per year.
