Spring is a time of renewal and new things…here are some new artist to our roster, artists we are catching up with, and some exciting news!
Mick Thomson (AHB-1) is gearing up to record a new album with seminal Metal monsters, SLIPKNOT, which is looking at a release date for this fall. If you aren’t familiar with Slipknot than maybe its time you come out from living under that rock. They are a band made up of nine members from, of all places, Des Moines, Iowa. The group formed in 1995, is currently signed to Roadrunner Records, have achieved multi platinum success and even won a Grammy Award in 2006. Mick recently came on board to act as one of our flagship endorsers of the BLACKOUTS Active Humbuckers. He just completed a five city guitar clinic in the North East where he displayed his sick techniques and awesome tone. For more information about Mick, aka SEVEN, and Slipknot, check out www.slipknot1.com.
