Hardly any difference at all. The dime bucker seemed to have a lot of MIDS and TREBLE.
What a hype this pickup stuff is. Pickups and Pickups when it comes to good metal pickups. I use Seymour Duncan Blackout in my Jackson RR24 Pro and Seymour Duncan Invaders in my Gibson Les Paul. I’ve tried EMG’s and my wifes ESP has dual EMG-81′s and I like them but I just prefer Seymour Duncan over any other pickups I’ve tried.

The small difference is because of the limitations of modern recording.
If you swapp tubes it’s hard to tell in a recording.
Instrument cables are very hard to hear unless you are there.
Even speakers don’t sound so different.

I hear a ton of difference… I like the JB, the Distortion and the Dime….
