I just got a Cool Rails neck, and a lil 59 neck to go with my JB jr in the bridge (great deals on ebay). These are going into my Charvel 275 Deluxe. Basswood body, maple neck, rosewood fb. All routes are SC sizes with the bridge and middle stacked to look like a HB.
I am debating which to put in the neck and which to put in the middle between the Cool Rails and the Lil 59. What do you guys think? Which will match better with the JBjr in the notch position?
I am also a bit limited with this guitar because it only has a volume and a 5 way switch. So, I am also debating between putting in a push/pull pot in to split all three pups at once or puting in a concentric pot to add a tone pot to the mix. Is it worth splitting these? I am also a bit confused on what pot values to use. I have the JBjr hooked up to a 500K volume pot and it is very wide open (great for van halen type tones). Will this be a good match for the CR and Lil59 or should I follow the SD advice and switch to 250K?
As usual yor opinions are much appreciated. I should add that I want this to be as versatile a guitar as possible. I play blues, classic rock, and old school metal.

I'm still interested in your results with different pot values though.
