    Default Chapeau bas Dr Barlo...

Yeah, you are the one that turned me into this!

And I can't thank you more

I finally get to install an A4 magnet in the '59n of my Epi LP classic. To be honest I have been playing it only an hour or so since I moded it. But it definitely seemed to be heading in the right direction.

I will need to get the right height adjustment to balance it with the bridge pup. But flipping the switch from one to another is just bliss. Furthermore, having been playing with the studio for a few month now, I was quite surprised by the bell like quality of the '59 and there low output. I am really starting to believe that the Gibby pups will have to go at some point... but now I got started with moding so the Gibby will have it's share.

Here are some picks of the revived Epi. Just need to find a second cover for the bridge pup (Thanks for this cover Pierre ) and two speed knobs for the volume pots.

And finaly, after all talks there had been on the make up of Epi LPs, could someone tell me what this one is made of from the view in the pup cavity in the last picture? Cheers

I would assume its the mahogany/alder with the birdseye maple top.

    Beautiful by the way!
