EVH MXR Phase 90 (Awesome!)

Just purchased one of these and it is simply a blast to fool around with! Great little pedal that`s built like a brick.I`m very impressed with MXR`s stuff,high quality and not too pricey. I also really like the Script button on the EVH which gives you a more vintage sounding phase when pushed in,when its out you get a more modern/edgier effect thats absolutely killer for leads! Great stuff! Anyone own or try one of these? Opinions?

Neve tried one, but I've been interested. I know on the Dunlop website they have a "Script" phase 90 now, along with the reg phase 90 and the EVH.

It really is a great little pedal!
And you've got to love the colors.
I have a MXR phase 90 moded to sound like the old script logo, it's a great mod the only thing that changes is a resistor, just remove it and you've got the script logo, or add a switch and you have the script button like on the EVH.

The EVH Phase 90 has the Script button so you esentially get both, the Script as well as the Block!!!

I've got one and love it. For years I used the orange reissue and even modded it some. Once I got the EVH model, that orange has sat in a box. I also got it right after I decided I wasn't going to run any pedals out front. Well, the EVH made it in to the chain. Script mode + 9 o'clock = EVH all the way.

This is a great pedal! Hopefully EVH can enjoy it after he gets out of rehab.

I have my original script 90 I bought new in the 70s. Sent it out to be restored as it was'nt working well. Loved it, now, I have a script 100 and it's even better! 4 mode settings, it rocks and has the killer spacey tone I use on some songs.

I've got one too!

I use mine at 1:00 for a nice flanger type swirl, and sometimes turn it all the way down for a nice chorus effect...
