A question about the JB

Hey,

JB is the only humbucker i really like in the bridge in the passives section, i know the mustaine is an active version of it, but how does it compare to the 85 ? is the 85 less clear than the JB ?

JB and the emg85 are quite different.........first of all the emg85 has good tight bass and strong low mids something the JB is famous for .......not having......

The emg has a little bit more output, and the JB has that high mid spike which is not present on the 85. Overall i prefer the 85 and i find it also to be more clear than the JB
