    Thumbs up Brobucker

Finally put the guitar together with it.

I have been looking for this pickup since the early 70's.

Best bridge pickup I ever had.

It's in a partsocaster, but it would be scary in a Les Paul!!!!!

Thanks guys for asking Duncan to make this pickup.

I can see this pup in any LP, SG, V, Explorer but not the ES series.

It is very balanced, smooth, creamy.....whatever, you know what I mean.

    It's just tone.

I asked about 5 custom winders to make me one. Voodoo was close, one guy made one and lied, used 43 poly wire and 3 others said they could not do it. That guy that lied actually ripped me off for a few hundred bucks.

Fralin said yes but it would take 6 weeks or more, whatever. Wolf (Wolftone pickups) actually can but by that time I was so disgusted I gave up. I said I would never trust another small time operator or custom winder.

Since MJ is the Duncan shop, they back what they sell, I went for it.

Glad you like it. I love it in my frankenstrat and in there it will stay. I actually prefer it there than my Les Paul.

Hey Erik I see you are in Ft. Worth.

Do you get stuff from JMI music?

He's a friend of mine and sells stuff at a great price over the internet.

Cool guy, his name is Jim.

I have ordered a ton of stuff from him and we have become good friends.

He doesn't BS you, if he can't get the part he tells you. But he usually can get whatever you need and gets it fast!!!!!!!!!!

He doesn't wait to make a big order and tells you it's on it's way when in fact a lot of guys are hanging on to your order waiting to make a big one to save a few pennies.

When a guy says he ordered it and is waiting for it to come in he means:
1-He's waiting for more orders to make a big one and save on shipping.
2-He's waiting to make a big order because he doesn't have credit with the company and wants to get the biggest discount.
3-The stuff is back ordered and he's just too lazy to find it for you from another supplier.
4-He's totally full of BS and can't tell the truth if you had a gun to his head.

    Did I miss anything?

Cool. Sounds like my kind of supplier. Next time I need stuff I'll give him a shout.

That's nice and I bet it sounds awesome.

Did you ever think about going with Cream parts to match the pups?

I guess I have a thing for blondes with big pickups.
