Haven't played the reissues, but the orignals were awesome guitars. I miss mine!

I played few. Pretty cool but I think I am going to keep hounding ebay for an original. The red and yellow are just too bright.

FAIK, original specs ... but i may be wrong. havent actually checked them out

Part of the attraction is to have the color along with the prestige neck, and the original Edge trem. I would love to have one. I have to convince myself to pull the trigger before they're gone. I saw them in person in Frankfurt and they're great. I love the neck, and I think they're worth the money. The pickups are likely dogs, however. I would immediately retrofit mine with something else. I would love it with a set of PATB's but then the look would be different, and that would sort of kill the whole reason for buying one. Maybe a Custom/Vintage Staggered/Jazz combo would be just right. Hmmm...
