Default Stones - Can't You Hear Me Knockin' Intro

SoCalSteve's post about this tune got me back into playing it again. Ah I love this tune, probably my fav Stones tune. It's just my flaming tele, 59n into a little Lace ME10 SS amp. I pulled the one side off of the wav file using WaveLab Lite and recorded the intro part to see how it fit. More for fun but so many people seem to dig this tune I thought I'd post it.

I've read that Keith tuned to Open G tuning to get that intro? Alot of Keith's stuff is in this tuning(Brown Sugar and Start Me Up)are also...You almost need to copy the tunings to get it just right..

YUP ! Got my Tele tuned to open G since I saw SoCalSteves post. I gotta
see if I can make a backing track for that one. It's got a cool solo to.
    Lots of fun.

Nice job, Wattage! I almost jumped out of my seat when I heard Mick start singing, though...I must read more thoroughly!

    Thanks for posting.

I've got it tuned DGDGBD low to high. Tough to get Keef's definition recording into my soundcard, if I used a good mic pre it would help (I guess if I used a better amp it would help too) everything gets far too muddy into the soundcard.

The solo kicks ass! Mick just owns on that track, drives me crazy.

That was great, Wattage! I friggin' love that intro.

You gave me something to listen to to try to get it down, since I don't have that CD.

    Thanks, again.
