look at the picture at the top of the page with all the vintage cartoon charaters. who is the little guy on the very far left, in front of fat albert in the rabbit suit with the N on the front? ive seen him in a few pictures before, and as a stuffed animal in a music store near by.

Yeah that's the Noid from Domino's pizza ads many moons ago. There was a guy named Howard Noid (IIRC on the Howard part) that had mental issues and shot and killed himself and possibly a pizza delivery guy all because of the ad slogan "Avoid the noid" that Domino's used to use.

He thought it was a plot against him by Dominos.
I almost forgot about that ad campaign. I used to have some Noid plastic characters that came with the pizzas.

EDIT: I was wrong his name wasn't Howard and what he did. Here is an excerpt from Wikipedia. No wonder I remember this. It happened in Atlanta. I guess you remember wrong when you are a 9 year old watching the news!! LOL!!!

    "Kenneth Lamar Noid

In 1989, Kenneth Lamar Noid, a mentally ill customer who thought the ads were a personal attack on him, held two employees of an Atlanta, Georgia Domino's restaurant hostage for over five hours. After forcing them to make him a pizza and making demands for $100,000, getaway transportation and a copy of The Widow's Son, Noid surrendered to the police.[2]

Noid was charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, extortion and possession of a firearm during a crime. He was found not guilty by reason of insanity."
