Default Neoprene rubber tubing for guitar stand - where to buy

Does anyone know where I can purchase that nice black spongy tubing for a guitar stand? I have that yucky tan/brown stuff that gets cracks in it, and my guitar body just slides all over it.

Consider trying the clear plastic tubing sold by the foot in many hardware stores. (if you can't find the black sponge tubing). It lasts forever (might get a bit cloudy/yellow) and won't crack or get "sticky". It should also be safe (inert) for your guitar finishes. However, maybe it will be too slippery for your needs

Just remember to measure for the INSIDE diameter of tubing you will need.

    Good Luck

    Dave
