It IS much different. I have a love/hate with it. I will ultimately get rid of it and have a McVay or a Glaser installed. I gotta cough up $600 for either of those though!

Here's one from last week. That's as pointy as my gear gets (well, except maybe for this monstrosity) I bought it about a month ago and I've bought a few more since then (last week I bought Bass Number Ten and yesterday I bought Guitar Number THIRTY! ), but getting Mark to photograph them all is another story. Never mind all the drums, amps & effects!

That's as pointy as my gear gets (well, except maybe for this monstrosity) I bought it about a month ago and I've bought a few more since then (last week I bought Bass Number Ten and yesterday I bought Guitar Number THIRTY! ), but getting Mark to photograph them all is another story. Never mind all the drums, amps & effects!

Those are Mark Wong's photos, not mine...but yes, he does calendars and books. I think the Showmaster is going in the 2008 calendar. My DeArmonds and B-Bender are going to be in his upcoming book.

I believe all of his guitar photos are here in varying resolutions.

These are just shots on his bed with natural indirect light, an improvised reflector to fill and a good prosumer Fuji camera. No magic except incredibly meticulous prep.

I think somewhere he has a "how to photograph guitars" page.

Funny, I've never seen the books or calendars, though I may be editing his next book.

I was at his house when some of the framed pictured were delivered and they were extremely nice. I think some of the local guitar stores sell them.
