    Default *Pickup Question*

    Hey all,

I'm looking to put in a new bridge humbucker as well as getting some new locking tuners. I want the humbucker to have a rich tone, with good mids and moderate highs and lows. I've read about the SD Custom Custom and am looking to get one. Is that a good choice?

Oh, also, on the SD site it has separate dimensions for two codes: sh-11 and tb11. How do I know if I need the trembucker spacing or not? I've got a vibrato bar, but I don't think it's not a floyd rose or anything.

More than likely, if you have a vibrato, you want the TB. You can always measure the distance from E-E. If its 2", you want TB. If its under 2", standard.
Buy the book in my avatar. It's pretty cool.

The SH-11 is std. spacing and the TB-11 is F spaced. It sounds like your looking for tone wise might be a SH-5 Custom or a Screamin Deamon. Give me a little info on your rig and what kind of music you play to give you a better choice.
