yea, '59 works well with the JB. Never paired a Dimarzio with the JB so I can't answer that.

I've got a Dimarzio Virtual PAF paired with a JB in the bridge and I like it a lot.

Well this is my first 24 fret guitar and i've read that the neck pups don't sound as good as in 22 fret guitars. The jazz justs seems too bland, no sparkle. The pearly gates i have in my LP is awesome, but i wanted to try out something different in this guitar.

I've found that bridge position PAF style pickups tend to work better in 24 fret guitars. For example, I use a PGb in the neck slot of my Carvin DC127T and a bridge Lil Pearly Gates in the neck of my HM Strat.
