    Default Favorite BBQ Ribs

Yes, everyone, when it comes to the meat, is probably more associated with/familiar with juicy steaks and burgers when it comes to the meat department - but how about some BBQ RIBS? I think I've found my favorite ones. First off, I do not live down south so ribs definitely aren't as common up here and not many places "known for their ribs." So keep that in mind before you call me untraditional and fake. But my favorite ribs I've had are the Kentucky Burbon ribs at Chilis. When I go eat higher class, there arent any ribs there. but these things are awesome! The sauce is perfect - perfect mix of sweet and spicy and smokey. They just taste great.

Okay - first of all, recomend me some places in the NYC area for godly bbq ribs, and share your favorites! haha - peace

As far as chains go, I love the St. Louis style ribs from Smokey Bones. But my alltime favorites are from a little shack with awnings for windows. It's in Centeral Florida off I-75. It's called Sweet Lips BBQ.

BBQ is my alltime favorite. I have contemplated opening my own resturaunt many times; however, two things stop me; money and know-how...

I'm not a rib expert -- I usually prefer brisket -- but I went to Famous Dave's 3 times on vacation, and they had excellent ribs. All the side dishes and the salads were great too. They are a chain, so you might check for locations near you.

I went to a local place, Phil's, for lunch yesterday, and it was PACKED in the middle of the afternoon. Some guy sat next to me at the bar and had two plates of ribs .. I'm not sure he ate it all though, 'cause he admitted he was getting full before I left.

I think the formula is: good BBQ + blues music = good business.

here in Ontario Canada we have a few rib places that are nice... St Louis Chicken And Ribs is a good chain..... But what i like is in the summer and fall there is a lot of RIB Festivals on... i live in a large town outside of Toronto and all around us in other small towns the Rib Fests go on... one week they are in Markham and the next Aurora, and the next Oakville... so on and so on.... it's the same carnival of rib cookers... at these rib fests i prefer the pulled pork sandwhiches but i get a 6 pack of ribs with it.... they are great with the BBQ sauces some of them offer.... i have not had a bad one yet....

Quite a few of the rib fest companies are from the USA... NY, Kansas, Altanta area...

any love out there for beef ribs
