    does any one have this pickup...? how does it sound?
    custom rg 270dx w/hb101 neck
    epi goth explorer, w/jazz neck+JB bridge

    Isn't that one of the Duncan designed pickups? Looking through the website, it looks like it's supposed to approximate a 59. Have you thought about one of these instead?

    I got one used for $20 and like it a lot sounds the same as a 59n

    i won an unidentified lot off of ebay, for $40 i ended up getting a hb-101 neck and a JB. i think it was a pretty good deal

    yeah I have to admit I used to have one and it sounded alright. Not good, but not bad at all. Better than most factory pickups.
