Paintball Tips

So, at the end of the month I'm going to be playing paintball for the first time. A bunch of us will be playing, mostly beginners. It will be at my friend's family property, which is over 1000 acres (obviously we will have a smaller playing field).

I ordered a marker and all the basics the other day, so I should be good to go.

So any tips for a beginner? We will be playing in the woods, but I'm not sure about the exact layout. Most of the trees close to their lake are pretty thin and don't provide much cover.

I'd like to try it some time, but I have too darned many other hobbies.

You're going to have to think like soldier, use any available cover, use strategy, traps, and have too marksmanship skills. Wear a face mask and complete cover.

Make sure to take out your barrel plug/remove the barrel sock before you start firing.

If you can't see it, you can't shoot it. Cover, camo and stealth. Enjoy!

Tie a bandana (or something else) around your neck to cover that....just in case.

Make sure you've got at least some protection on...I know some people get by with just a shirt and shorts, but the vocalist of my old band once was hit in the chest and he had a lung collapse. Scary stuff.
