Chemical sweeteners have always tasted like ass to me so I've never really eaten them. I'm trying to phase high-fructose corn syrup out of my diet, but that is difficult because it's in almost every common, mass-produced food.

The best way to counteract methanol is with ethanol.
Therefore, if you have a diet coke, add some rum or whiskey.

actually, whats more probable is that she has a rare genetic disease called phenylonuria sp? which means she cannot process one of the byproducts of aspartame. That said, methanol turns to formaldehyde when digested, and it bonds to the peptides in your dna, causing cancer and other health defects.
I put those things there as a reminder not to put them there

I love diet pepsi but, I have noticed a lack of focus and concentration that seems to be getting worse over the last few years. My memory sucks too! Maybe this has something to do with it?

Uh oh..I am chewing some aspartame laced gum right now..though I already checked out the side effects long ago. I currently chew around 3 pellets a day..so its not that much..but who knows?

Aspartame is so gross...you get the worst after taste from it. I prefer plain old sugar...it's not gonna kill me as long as I keep up brushing my teeth twice a day.

I hate the taste of regular soda. I got used to the taste of diet sodas and much prefer it over regular soda now.

It will...my grandma had laid some bread on the table to make a sandwich and 3 minutes later started fussing at me for leaving the bread out....Thats really sad
This is after telling her that it will effect her memory for the past 10 years from drinking diet soda.
