    Default Happy 4th Forum Bros!

Hope you all enjoy the day!

Have a cold one (or two) - but not too many!
Grill it up and eat it up!
    Enjoy that pic-nic!
Have a great day at the beach (don't forget the sunscreen).

And - at some point - celebrate in the way only guitar players can; Sit down, put on Hendrix, turn it up, and listen - really listen, to the Star Spangled Banner being played in the way it was meant to be played!

Happy 'Premium Holiday'. Lol. I got me a 12 pack of Newcastles and an invite to eat someone else's BBQ. I don't know anyone who really went all out with the illegal fireworks this year, but I'm sure they'll someone around the old hood with artillery .

It's raining in TX right now? Send some of it this way you greedy bastards! Usually here, every year they have to scale down or cancel the Strip (fireworks) Show because of wind, but never rain.

IIRC, there is a 4th of July in other countries as well.

I'd do more celebrating of "Independence Day," but it has been raining all day.

Maybe I'll watch the movie instead....

I rained today till about 3 or 4 o'clock, just in time for me to go to work. It has rained at least once a day here for the last month no joke. It's kinda nice compared to last yr, but I'd like at least 1 good day of sunshine where I can go outside and wash my car.

I chose to work on the 4th after running an errand that morning. I didn't work at work, cause that would be too easy. I'm doing side work for extra cash scrapping signs from my day job for the aluminum and copper wiring. Giving the intact sign faces to a friend and trashing the broken ones. I've been giving this all my free time to make extra money. I'm saving up to build a house. I've got a 5 gallon bucket filled with industrial flourescent lamp connectors, zip screws and wire nuts. I have another bucket filled with broken lamp glass and safety glass. I'll recycle everything possible and sell what's profitable. I have dozens of flourescent ballasts. I'm going to contact a local electrical company to see if he wants them. I'd say 90% of them are in good working order. I'll recycle the duds.
