He also used the Tele-Gib, and I'm sure I heard some Strat in there...
But, after buying my Les Paul, I can agree that you can play anything on them. That said, I can play anything on my Strat too. I love all guitars, each of them has strong and weak points which makes them all better at some genres than others, but if you can play everything, then it doesn't matter what guitar you're using, you'll still be able to play everything.

And Here on Bandcamp!
Crankin' a Gibson Les Paul and a Fender Strat into a Crate V32, in an attempt to deafen those who don't enjoy good ol' fashioned blues and rock n' roll

You can even play them with a hammer :P

Your 59n is muddy!? Hmm. Still if you ain't getting along with it, sell it! You'll get at least $100 for the pups and probably $300+ for the guitar.
Keep telling yourself that.
You know, there was a summit of Audiological Scientists in Iowa last year, the 5th annual in fact. And they surmised for the 5th year in a row that Les Pauls are better.
Hehe you mean disconnected geeks!?Audiological Scientists
Better to get more busted backs!!
For more numb hands and going all the way up to the shoulder

Very funny! I'd love to meet you some day rid. Maybe you can convince me that Strats are the bee's knees. Whenever I'm in Denmark again, I'll stop by.![]()

My arm actually goes numb with a Paul...
I am just used to playing long scale...hehe I want a baritone guitar

See that's probably the problem. I really like short scale guitars like Gretsches and LPs. I really like the added slinkyness, and how close the frets are. Maybe my hands are too small.
But in 5 years or so, whenever I'm there, I'll definitely hit you and Pierre and Luis up! My girlfriend may very well be going to graduate school in Scotland in 2008. So we'll see.

Yep. I make it a matter of pride that whatever music you throw at me I WILL play it on a Les Paul
I had a guy come up to me after a gig recently saying "you're playing Strat songs on a Les Paul but it sounds great!"
I tried to explain that it's more trouble to set up one amp to sound good with both guitars than it is to do everything with one guitar. If you're gonna change from humbuckers to single coils or vice versa you really need to change amps or patches too.
Having said that, I really want to work the Strat's in-betweenie tones into our set at some point![]()
I grew up on difficult to handle guitars...
And I also played some bass and drums in my youth, and I have also played alot of acoustic guitar
That gives you strong fingers I guess, as I always used 12-54 strings.
So as long as I do not mean it, my guitar will tell me that I suck
Yeah it would be fun to see some of our US bro's overhere in communist Europehehe
Have a good time, and all that fun stuff

Yeah, you can play most things on a LP but, for the money you pay for them, they should play it all for you. LOL!
