[?] Electronics recommendation for a MIM Strat

Hi, I, like so many others, have ordered a Crazy 8 that I want to put in my MIM Strat.

Currently it is SSS with 250K pots (routed for HSS) so I thought about making a brand new pickguard, only keeping two SC pickups and maybe the 5-way.

Obviously the Crazy 8 will go at the bridge. The current ones are the RW/RP stock Fender MIM and the DiMarzio Fast Track 1 and 2. Obviously one will go, two will stay, I can't be sure which ones though yet (until I put the Crazy 8 in and compare, anyone that has done so is welcomed to chime in ).

However, seeing how I was duped the last time I let it in the previous tech's hands this time I want to know before hand which electronics to put in it, (not only values but brands too!) in order to achieve best results.

I will use this guitar for Blues, a little Jazz, some Rock and a lot of 80s' Metal (the Heavy, Power and Glam types) so I want a guitar that can totally nail the Metal Leads but also can play a mighty blues in the 2 and 4 positions.

What I'd like would be brands and values of all three pots, cap and switch.

P.S. Is there a way to use one switch to split 2 or even 3 humbuckers at once? Might be useful for the notch positions, if not I might get two or even 3 push/pulls.

I can't answer all of your questions, I do have some.

Go with CTS brand pots. People usually go with 250K pots on guitars with single-coil pickups. They'd be too bright with 500K.

I think for the caps, something like 0.02uf would be fine, but I don't know about specific brands though.

But at least two will be humbuckers and perhaps even all 3.
One full size and either one (neck) or two (neck+middle) sc-sized mini-humbuckers (the Fast Track 1 and/or 2).

That's why I'm uncertain.

So, CTS pots, a 0.02uf cap and whichever 5-way I can find?

Will a super-switch be worth the trouble? (those with twice as many terminals)

i have more or less the same problem... a mim strat currently with a sss 250k pot setup that needs to have a crazy 8 put in, only i somehow want to incorperate a push pull on the crazy 8. sorry i don't have any answers, consider this a friendly bump.
