    Default HSS all SD humbuckers

    Cool Rails Neck.
Hot Rails Neck in Middle position.
    Crazy 8 Trembucker.

3 x series/off/parallel switches, one for each pickup so no actual pickup selector.

I need to change out the pots and was thinking of adding 2 new 500k push/pull pots... but what can I make them do that would be useful?
It's an all maple/ebony Carvin, so alternately I was thinking about making the tone pot a 250k.
Maybe make the push/pull a cap change?

    Anyone?

Nah, it's easy considering I just did 4 push/pull pots.
One volume push/pull, one tone push/pull.
    3 switches series/off/parallel.

doesn't sound that balanced. maple and ebony carvin with a crazy 8? that sounds pretty bright to me. the hot rails and cool rails might sound ok, but why the crazy 8? maybe you should consider a patb1, patb3, or something. just a suggestion.

    Yea, I'm wondering about that.
That's why I was thinking maybe something to bring the cap value up/down for when I hit the Crazy 8... just pull a switch and instant lead tone.
I'll pick up a PATB soon... I'm going to try to build 2 guitars... so I'll be swapping pickups in and out of the Carvin.
I've got a Custom that I want to try in the Carvin as well.

    Anyone else have ideas?

I've got two aspects of this covered that I just drew up here recently for one of my own projects. I don't really want to post it though, until I can test it in a guitar. If you can wait 'til this weekend, I may have a cool solution for you.

Especially that last part . . . about the dedicated bridge-override/tone switch.
    Stay tuna-ed.
