Yeah, a really sweet shade of cobalt/midnight blue would be my vote. Then put that white pearl pickguard on, and add black plastic pickup covers/knobs. I know that would look good.
Transparent Cobalt Blue
Transparent Amber
Transparent Green

Thanks Proxy! Can I change my vote to Deep Cobalt Blue?
Very Metal.

Proxy....you are the man!!!! You have just made up my mind for me...blue it is. The amber is sweet and a close 2nd, and the green just doesn't do it for me on this guitar.
I owe you a favor!

from Proxy's Pics - deffo the blue.
Shame its routed for a pickguard, i think it'd look great without one

His Grace is Amazing

lol
blue is my fave colour on a strat or tele hands down. you cant go wrong with a nice shade of blue
i wanna get a H/s/s strat in this colour
BLUE ROCKS![]()

yup...i'm liking the blue with the pearl guard too...
although the amber with a black or tortoise would be cool too!?

Excellent choice with the blue ... it'll look sweet.
IMO, green Strats just take on that total cheesey Carvin-built 80's guitar with white pickguard and black pickups look.

I also have to vote for the blue. I think you'll be happy with it. I know I was when my AM DLX Fat Strat showed up in Trans Cobalt Blue.

That's a beautiful guitar. If my mind wasn't made up before...it is now!Originally Posted by Gamera

After staring at that blue version, I started thinking it would look great with a 3 ply black guard and aged white covers/knobs. Or consider black engine turned aluminum guard/aged white. Or black moto/aged white.
If you stick with white pearl, I think black knobs/covers would offset it nicely.
Or, blue moto guard with white knobs/covers.

I was actually thinking today Jonesy about adding an aluminum guard like the one you've got on your strat. Then go aged white hardward. Where did you get yours?

Gods it looks awesome in blue.
Not gonna miss you know!
Information is not knowledge.
i voted amber because i hate how blue with a rosewood fretboard looks like, plus amber is just almost looking as long as its very light sort of a stain.
