Default Help: Bridge Ground to Output jack or tone or volume pot?

Sorry this is probably a dumb question but-

I have a ground wire coming off my bridge on a fender hardtail strat and am not sure where it goes.

Should I connect that wire to a tone or volume pot or to the output jack?
I've seen it done both ways and was wondering what I should connect it to.

    Thanks!

a ground is a ground is a ground
it doesn't matter as long as eveything is tied to a common ground. ie- the back of any pot should be fine as long as that pot is commonly grounded.
