Well...I don't own one but if you did order one from the custom shop I wouldn't get it with the Parallel Axis bobbins. I'd have them wind you one with screw/slugs. My 2cents.

Interesting. Seem like I remember reading a few testimonials on here saying that the parallel axis p'ups didn't sound that great in non trem guitars...but if it works then it works. Would the P.Axis be considered "Dual Slug"?

I have the crazy8 in my Epi goth LP , its all mahogany,no maple cap and its very dark sounding, I tried out alot of pups in it but they all sounded too mushy and undefined for the heavy rock style i play....then I tried the Crazy8...it sounds awesome in it, and thats its permanent home, its well defined and really tightened up the bottom end more than the DD in that guitar. Recently swapped out the SD I had in the neck for a PG....nice combo for a darker sounding LP.I think even a maple cap LP would sound great, probably alittle more bite..................JUST GO FOR IT!

When my Lp arrives itll get either a 500t, crazy 8 or BBQ or Distortion. (I have all three laying around... The 8 is a strong candidate.

All depends on your tastes, and this forum is constantly arguing about matters of taste. I'm partial to a '59B or C5 in the bridge of a LP, but that's just me.

    Blueman,
Talking taste, I love C5s and love 59b in the neck. I should give one a whirl in the bridge, but normally like something alittle more powerful in the bridge. I have a LP with Zakk set, have one with an Alnico 2 pro neck and Mr browney bridge ( more aggressive A2 pickup. similar to a 78). So, Im looking to do this one alittle more aggressive, but not over the top.

I will say, the jazz bridge works wonders in the neck spot with the crazy 8 in the bridge.

    Keep it in mind bro.
