    Default Replace stock bridge unit

I think I want to replace my stock Epiphone LP bridge. It looks and feels cheap, plus the (forgive my lack of terminology!) piece on the end where you first put the string through looks like its just been shoved in there with grooves in the holes to keep it steady-ish. I don't know if that's normal or not.

Anyways, what do you guys suggest for replacing this bridge? I'd really rather not drill any holes in my guitar, so if there's something that I can just swap in that'd be great. Smaller holes are okay with me. Thanks!

Would something like a Gotoh Tuneomatic fit? How would I go about finding this out?

There are quite a few different manufacturers of after market Tune-o-matics. The actual size may be slightly different from the Epiphone, so the installation may need to be done by a pro. Kahler even makes a whammy-bar system which fits onto the posts of a tune-o-matic/stop tail.
