Nice selection! For "Echoes," are you listening to the studio version off Meddle, or is it something else?

It's basically their greatest hits collection, a 2 disc set.

Listened the new Raveonettes record twice today. It's pretty much like the rest of their stuff: 50s and 60s pop drenched in Jesus and Mary Chain fuzz freakouts and and the world's most overworked spring reverb unit.

Flooding? How long? Seems like they'd clean up and play again.

Hmmm. Sorry to hear about that. That really sucks.

We're experiencing some flooding problems right now, not on a large scale.

I moved about 2 years ago and left a couple boxes of stuff in my cousins basement. Last spring she called me and told me her basement had flooded and she threw everything that was in it away. At the time it didn't seem like big deal because I thought all it was was some old clothes and some old trophies and what not, then I remembered I had a binder with a couple hundred Cds in it...... I wasnt to happy about it after that, but it was my own fault for leaving it there

Hm, that sounds.. interesting. I really enjoyed Theodore's playing, but it will be exciting to see how the next record turns out.. I hope they will maintain their ambience parts too..
