Default Charvel San Dimas Standard Bass

Nice! This is exactly the kind of bass I was hoping Jackson would make. Check out the specs here.

P style body with deep cutaways, 21 fret 34 inch, P/J config (with dual Basslines! Hots, no less). It's very much like a Fender with more metal stylings. Without being active or having a neck-heavy "extreme" vibe. Very cool. Even includes black hardware.

    Any thoughts?

As the Charvel USA models will all not be available until late fall / Winter, I think it´s better to wait until then to pass any sort of judgement

Gotcha. I was just wondering if anybody had any opinions or any new info.

    Thanks.

They´ll probably be great players, just like everything else that comes out of the Jacksom USA Shop. But that´s about all I can say, even the guys at hte JCF don´t know much more yet

Zerb - A quick question only you can answer: When can we expect a new catalog and updated Jackson site? Also, will Charvel get their own catalog this year? They DO have their own website now.

I also noticed that both the Jackson and Charvel websites have "c.JCMI" logos at the bottom of their page.... Are they still owned by FMIC? As I said before, I'm not interested in Jackson until they get more/better basses. The only reason I ask is because I want as much info as possible on the Charvel San Dimas Standard bass. I'm definitely looking for it.

    Why the eye-roll?

Almost no American made instruments are under 600. If it was any less than 1,000, I'd be very shocked.
