    Default 335 Screamer JazzBlues

    Hey folks!

Back in town had to record something. Yamaha SA2200 straight into my Engl Screamer 50 combo and a SM57..god I love it!

The Yamaha needs a pro setup (nut has to be tweaked for the 011-048 strings) and new 3 way switch and pots but so far I'm quite fond of it.

I cut the 50hz frequencies and used a comp for the guitar and a cool thing for the whole thing PSP Vintage Warmer..should sound good to your ears...I hope

    Enjoy!

Thank you very much for the quick feedback!

I had a problem with my equipment, although I don't own many guitars and many amps, the question was, which is my main guitar..I think my Yamaha will do the job really good

Can't wait for the band rehearsal on saturday!

I'm on a Robben Ford trip now...perhaps this explains the choice of the backing

Sorry, that wasn't a shot....you 2 are the only ones I know that have Engl Screamers & kick a$$ with the jazz on them.

Maybe it's the name, but I picture something different when I hear Engl & Screamer

Yeah, it's a bit funny to play in a jazz venue and see a Screamer there hehe.

It's versatile as hell but if I want to go more specific into the genre I'd like to check a Bogner Shiva and a Fuchs out

But so far, it works and yeah Marin has sweet clips!

What I really love about the Yamaha is the sustaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiin

yeah! ... that is very good tone .. those yamaha's always give up the sustain when a happenin player gets it goin' .. very tasty indeed ... i always end up with too much top end fizz when i go for that tone ... i like your a lot more

and who is the very pretty girl in your avatar?

Great playing over the "Help The Poor" progression! I kept thinking, "that sounds like a Robben Ford tune." Then I realized it wasn't really his to begin with....

    Anyway, thanks for sharing. stuff.

Edit: I just visited your myspace. I dig it, A.!

    Ah great work Adrian!!
Love that sound...sounds like a mixture of old old Room335 Carlton and something more modern.

Great playing Adrian! And I love that backing and that bassline is just begging for a Michael Jackson-esque vocal performance on there. I think that would be really really cool... and say what you want bout Jackson but to me he's still the king of dance music and is songs are well among the top when we talk pop.

(I guess I have to run for cover now so that I don't get a rotten tomato in my head for saying something good about Jacko )

I listened to Imbroglio here the other day as well, and I have to say it sounds smoking good man! Really really professional stuff... keep up the work!
