    Anybody got any clips of a seth lover or a good strat pulling off good transparent sound.

    I'm not quite sure exactly what you mean by "transparent sound", but I have clips of strat pups all over my web site

    transparent means that it really isn't a thick and raspy out there tone...listen to some real early 80's hard rock, and other bands who used PAF humbuckers and you'll get the idea. It's a clear, smooth tone...i recently discovered it so im out to get some of that sound in my rig!

    i never really considered 80s hard rock as a transparent sound........ i think of clear strat tones where all of the woods tone is coming through.........
