    Thumbs up Newb: LP advice?

well, not quite an LP, a new prs sc245. I love the stock pickups (very PAF like) but id like a teeny bit more power on both and also (strangely) an easier pickup to get feedback from, these arent easy so far!

Im playing mainly foo fighters style rock with a 5E3 Deluxe clone and a few pedals (drives, verb, delays) so a good clean tone is required too..........probably more so than a drive although they would both have to be very open and uncompressed?

One more teeny thing, i dont want pickup covers lol!

Really, theres not much wrong with the stock 245 pickups but as i cant replace them i dont want to mess about with the stock wiring on them (was thinking of a possible 4-conductor mod?) or removing the covers unless its easy ad reversible - never tried it before as you might be able to tell!

    ps, HI!

If you want more ooomph but a PAF voicing, you need a Custom in the bridge. Throw a '59 in the neck for cleans and you're off to the races.
