Default Any old Dean fans here? My little porn...

I've got a couple, and while I may be a pretty big Pantera fan, I never felt the urge to hack one of them up with a Floyd!

    I HATE threads like this

Beautiful old Deans. I'd love to get my hands on an old Baby ML with the standard headstock (no shrimpforks for me, thank you very much)

I only have one Dean guitar and that is a Boca 12 string. One word: IMPRESSED

I would love to get my hands on an old Dean Flying V... love that headstock...

I once (back in the mid 90's) put a Dean ML on ebay for a friend with a BIN of 450 and it was sold in like 15 minutes. I never had the chance to play the guitar but I have heard nothing but good things about the high end Deans.

At my age, the look of them just doesn't work.....

No Vintage Deans here. My oldest are 3 '96s, a V, Z, and Caddy. F73's are real sweet though.

Sweet guitars! Anybody else? Deans really are pretty sweet guitars, especially on the used market. The old ones, even the mangled ones, are usually killer players, and the newer Time Capsules can be picked up HELLA cheap 2nd hand in practically new condition.

I got into them a couple years ago. I had a MIM Strat and I traded it for a made in Korea Caddy. I had looked at it for a couple weeks but after I played it I couldn't beleive the playability. Set neck, push/pull pots, zebra humbuckers. I sold that one to get another Strat, Lite Ash w/Duncans. I had a '79 ML great sold it for something. I have a black '79 'V' that I had EMG 81/85 in. I just sold a Hardtail Select that I had a JB (b) and a Jazz(n) installed into. They make some nice stuff. I just don't get why the USA stuff is THAT much more. I played pretty much both versions of these and could tell very little difference. Anyway great guitars, and I agree, I couldn't hack up one for a Floyd either.

I had a blueburst e'lite back in the early 80's, it was pretty cool. No one wanted it so I got it for a song, couldn't get squat for it when I sold it. It had a kind of funny feeling soft v shape to the neck that I never became one with, wouldn't mind having it back if it showed up again though, I always liked the look.

Where is it for sale? How much? You must really have an urgent life threatening need for cash.
