Try www.pcdrummer.com I use Fruity loops but the learning curve
can be brutal (w/o a manual) There is alot of good samples and looping
software out there ,But IMHO it's hard to fine tune it? Or you could
pick up a Alesis SR-16 on ebay for cheap? There's a way to use it's
in some midi device,s Haven't figured that one out yet. But it dose
    have midi outputs.

try acid pro 4.0. it has a plug in with which you can program the drums by the pc. you can get the demo at:http://dspcdn.sonypictures.com/current/acidpro40.exe

ijust DLed it myself. dunno how to use it yet. this is just the demo version, but you can get the keygen on kazaa that will give you the full version.
