The button on one of the tuners of my 2000 LP Classic has a little "slack" in it if I can express it that way, meaning that it turns a little before it actually starts turning the gears. It's not a big deal but it still bugs me and, instead of just fixing it, I thought that it may be a good idea to change the tuners to something better while I'm at it...
I love the sperzels on my LTD, they feel solid. However, I do know that they won't fit the holes of my LP.
I definitely want retrofits, I don't want to have to ream the holes or anything at all if possible.
I've been looking a bit and kluson do make newer versions of their tuners (even locking ones) but I'm afraid I'd just be buying the same thing I already have there.
Does anybody have recommendations for good retro-fit tuners for a Classic?
Thanks for the help fellas.
