And it's a great price. Someone better snag it.

Once you own one, you start noticing the rest. Hamers are wonderful guitars. Even the EMG's on mine are starting to grow on me.![]()
I really like the black one, are these exceptionally nice guitars? I've never played any kind of hamer, o ya and how do you say 'hamer'? is it hay or ham
so the hamers are good as long as they are not the slammers right?

I must admit I've got limited experience with Hamers. I understand it's pronounced Hay Mer.
People I trust on this board say the Hamers are some of the finest USA built guitars on the market....period. My logic is that if the USA's are that good, then the Korean models must be at least very decent. I wasn't planning on buying another guitar right now, but for $230 how can you say no to a guitar that looks like these.

The second & third guitars that Jeff has posted has got the same bidder on both of them - - I don't know if its someone from this board is bidding but at the sort of prices being asked I would snap them up!!
Most of the US Hamers are very good (I am not so sure of the slammers) but for the price that is being asked - circa $300 you just will not go wrong on these guitars. Alright they are not as good as the US ones but all it takes is dropping in some SD '59 pups and possibly a set up and you will have a good guitar.
Jeff's score for $230 is absoutely astonishing (cheap skate!!) but he can easily make a quick profit should be decide to sell it without doing anything to it.
The right way to say Hamer is "Hay - Mur" (good old southern drawl here could also be handy!!) - god forbid that you ever talk to someone who owns a Hamer and don't pronounce it properly you will be pilloried!!![]()
Wow...those look sooo nice. I've never played anything by Hamer, but I've liked what I've seen. If I had some cash to spend on a new guitar I sure snatch one of those. Do they usually go for that price? (I'm refering to the non-USA ones)
