    Default Pickup wiring question

    Hi all,

I just finished the wiring for my parts-caster on paper but i'm really not into this stuff

Can someone please take a look at it and tell me if this wiring will work as intended by me?

    Thx in advance!!!

I haven't traced out the whole circuit but I don't understand why you have the white wire from the ST-3 going to p/p switch on the volume pot.

If I remember rightly, the red wire is the coil tap and the white is the global output.

You can tap this two ways; tap to earth or tap to output. The way you have it seems to be tapped both ways. The wire going from the switch to the p/p switch is doing nothing and the white wire goes to the top terminal of the p/p switch; there appears to be no output connection.

Another thing; you have the green wire from the humbucker and the screen wire going to the same pin on the series/split/parallel switch. This is not a good idea if you are planning to introduce a polarity switch (the correct term for the phase switch) later in the circuit path. Separate these and take the screen wire separately to any earth point.

Your series/split/parallel switch won't work the way you have it configured. Follow the schematic shown here but don't connect the pin fed by the green wire to earth. Do this later in the circuit path at the polarity switch. Make sure that the chassis of the switch is earthed though.
