    Default Push/Pull or Push/Push

    Alright so i'm planning out my Page style wiring and warmoth has everything I want at a good price except for push/pull pots
    they only have push/push pots
    they seem like they wouldn't be able to hold up very well, being spring loaded
    do you have any experiances with either?
    also should i get short shaft or long shaft for a carved top paul?
    let me know
    thanks guys

    Decent push/push pots are fine, and I find them easier to use. The cheap ones don't last though.

    I've used push/pulls for years without any problems, but I always wanted push/push just never found any.

    Does push/push pots show the knob as up/down like push/pulls?

    i think so
    it's kind of a spring loaded push/pull from what i hear
    but it seems to me like the sping could break easily

    Yes - they pop up and down, just to make either change you push the knob "into" the body.
