Hello all my small brain is having trouble! I have wired up a neck p-rail in my Carvin CT3M. The controls are 1 volume-1 push/pull tone,3 way toggle and on-off-on mini switch.

The pickup works but I am not getting all three sounds. WHen I pull up on the push pull it cuts the pickup off completely (still splits the bridge) but the mini switch seems to work but I am only getting 2 sounds.

Off the mini switch I took green and bare to vol pot (ground) however, the black wire I attached to the Push/pull instead of the 3 way. Should I take the black wire directly to the three way?
