Right i just realised that its as loose as it can possibly get, i just turned it another 1/8th and its basically completely loosend, it was free to move up and down the neck by simply pushing it, although it would only move a few mm as thasts all the clearance the torsion screew had..i turned it back about a 1/4 turn and it seems to be back snug..So i doesnt look like Loosening the truss rod will straighten the neck..

    any thoughts

    Cheers..

I think it's time to find a good luthier.

I'd also search the net for any similar problems and possible solutions.

BTW, I really like the look of your AM archtop Wolfie and I hope it's an easy fix for you.

Open string buzzing could mean nut is too low. Shim it up with some tin foil. Took care of the problem for me. Grab Erlewine's "How to make you electric guitar play great." Lotta good info in there.

Boy, talk about a coincidence. There's another y2stevo over at the Peavey forum, with a Wolfie, with a problem just like yours.
