I'm very pleased... I was afraid of being individual for a minute but it looks like I have a conventional taste:
EVH and Hendrix were at the top of my list and they have made it to the top 5.
Blackmore is at ten.
Buddy Guy is also somewhere in the list.
Albert Collins didn't make it.![]()

Thanks for the good work there KG

6 out of the top ten are mostly famous for using a Strat... nice.

Thats more like it, but I am gullable. My list, is ever changing, depending on what I"m listening to, with a couple constants:
Adam Jones
Jimmy Page
Dimebag
David Gilmour
Jerry Cantrell
Off the top of my head..so many other good ones. Once again nice work Keith, tons of work went into this. I'm grateful I was even asked.

First of all Keith thanks...
YEsWe sure do.. that Rolling stone's list suked
+1
Here is my list
Eric Johnson
Ritchie Blackmore (this guy was my first Guitar hero).
Mark Knopfler
Joe Satch
Eric Clapton
The guys who I sadly had to leave out of my list of 5 were Tonny Iommi, Angus Young, Hendrix, Jerry Cantdrell.
But Hey once again thanks Keith...

And yeah, thanks, Kage!

I'm trying to use this poll an inspiration for this year's forum pickup. Might cool to go for a tone inspired by one of our favorites:

hahaha...you got us!
now everyone on my list but Vernon Reid made the list...lol!
Ah yes. Somehow it slipped my mind that you'd be the other. Perhaps it was your time away from here that did it.
Welcome back.
BTW, the Mrs. and I saw GW last fall here in Fort Worth. I was less than 10 feet from the stage on Mark's side. Met the band afterwards and got autographs on an old drum head.![]()
I almost voted for Mark Kendall, but he lost out to John Spinks (from The Outfield, remember them?) Sorry also to Dan Wexler from Icon/Alice Cooper, BUT I had to get Page, Young, Vai, and Slash in there. I only left one slot open for an 'outside' call...and Spinks got it.

I don't know about you guys, but my top 5 was pretty standard issue, in fact all of my choices are included. However, my 6 - 10 would include a lot more interesting choices. It would be cool to do a list where you couldn't name any of the top 10, no Hendrix, EVH or Page...
Anyway, Keith, did anyone vote for Brent Mason?

is that what you people keep misbehavin'?
