Default Any music notation program tab out while you play?

I never use tab because it's a pain clicking on each line adding the right numbers etc.

Is there a notation program where I can just plug my guitar into my computer, start playing and it'll write out stuff (kinda like the talk programs that automatically type)?

Aha... my old roommate had Sibelius and it was a cool program, very powerful.

I'd like one of these things too. Anybody know?

Wow... that's awesome. Shame it doesn't work with normal guitars, but I guess I should have known that from the start.

Thanks a lot for the link Dim-7th! (almost makes me want that Graph Tech MIDI and acoustic system... almost )

The Brian Moore I have (look to the left) does this..you not only need midi, but a midi converter (Roland GI-10/20 or Axon AX100)...I have Silibus, which rocks, but I never tried this...I guess you could always tab by hand.

If you have a pitch to midi coverter, Finale supports that as well, although I've never used it for that, it also supports transcribing from a microphone as well. That's what it says, I find that rather hard to believe though. Either way though, Finale' isn't a tab program though, although I think they have tab plug-ins available.
