Last night in Knoxville was THE night. Saw Alison Krauss, Robert Plant and T-Bone Burnett. Holy freaking cow! What a phenominal show.....to say the least. I'll give a full review tomorrow, but I just got home from Nashville and I'm going to bed.

Ok, here's the quick and to the point info. Alison Krauss was freaking PERFECT live. She didn't drop one note.......not one. Robert Plant has lost nothing over the years. His voice sounded excellent. I was almost in disbelief that I was actually in the same room as he. T Bone Burnett absolutely rocked. His sound is unbelievable. You may not know who T Bone is, but you have more than likely heard some of his work. He's had his hands in a lot of good music. The man is a musical master mind and a genius collaborator. During the show he even did some solo material.....which was fantastic. Buddy Miller was on lead guitar and dang does that guy have some chops. He was making the fretboard smoke at one point I think. lol
I've got more to tell you guys about, but I'll have to do it in a bit.

They're gonna be in Nashville on July, 19th. I think I'm gonna have to go see that.
They were playing stuff from Raising Sand right? Did they just all play together or did they do small sets by themselves too?

Man, that is ALL good!! I love T-bone Burnette!! His solo albums are all little gems. Great music, well written and extremely well played! Allison Krauss is good too. Robert Plant is a good frontman, I have a couple solo albums that left me cold. A good freind went to see their concert in Cincinatti and loved it and him!
