You're cool, man...
After several problems with a previous member, this community has its way of filtering out newcomers that post a lot... It's nothing personal against you, actually, but I can absolutely understand that you feel that way..

Many people have a hard time adjusting to this place so don't get in a huff and leave. Also your ration of sh!t will increase if you complain about it.

I've been here three years, and still no one takes me seriously.
But I usually stay out of Off Topic.
I learn stuff from your threads, usually, so you're cool with me.

Comparing you to walters is crazy, he was used to ask page after page of irrelevent questions, completely ignoring the main points people were giving him, it was infuriating for members to give pages of good advice just to see him ignore it and ask for more info on the smallest of tone factors.
I haven't been watching what you've been doing much, but you seem a fine member of the forum, the people who feel the need to accuse every new member of being an old member are frankly embarrassing. One in ten times they are right, all the other times it makes the forum look very very uninviting, which is the exact opposite of what most people want it to be like.
Don't sweat it, i'm sorry some members have deemed it neccesary to PM you accusational stuff, thats not what this place is about.

I don't understand why you're getting people PMing you saying bad stuff. I've never had a bad PM on here. You must really rub people up the wrong way.
I have noticed you posting threads, then deleting them for odd reasons. Didn't you do one recently and delete it after about three hours because no one had responded? I never even got a chance to read whatever it was, since I'm in a different time zone so was in bed when you posted it!
You need to chill out and not take this place so seriously.
If you don't like the silliness in this section, stay out of it and only post in the "serious" sections. There's no garbage in there, it's all good.

Which leads to to a point I've been meaning to make. Post counts are meaningless except as a measure of how much a member posts. I never look at post count to decide whether I should take a post seriously, I read the actual post and decide if it contributed anything meaningful. Seriously, it's as stupid as writing someone off because of their skin color. In fact, if we've got our heads on straight, we should consider a high count as a sign of contribution dilution, and pay less attention.
Is there anyone out there that looks at the username and post count to judge a post's worthiness?

Only if the post makes no sense. Like this.![]()

Is the pimping thing a reference to my posts to you on the subject of your initial posts on here or has someone else PM'ed you regarding "pimping". IMHO you haven't pimped anything since those initial posts that you changed. I know the term offends you, but that is the common terminology for what your first few posts contained. You cleaned them all up, so you are a pimp no more in my book. I did apologise to ya just in case you forgot. Tak'em easy mang.

You and I have had a couple of PM's and I appreciated your help and knowledge then and still do. I would hate to see you leave. I truly believe that everyone contributes something to us all. Granted, sometimes it's only a lesson in how NOT to behave, but something. So I hate to see anyone leave, especially for reasons that aren't sound. I hope you decide to stay, if not, then good luck with all that. I never considered that you were on here just to increase business...I would have vetoed that thought after a few PRS posts....LOL.
I do think there is an ebb and flow to every site, written, web, or video. There will be times when more knowledge is shared than you can absorb, then there will be times when almost nothing posted contains anything worthwhile. It happens. I truly believe this is the best "musical" forum on the web. I have gained an incredible wealth of knowledge that would have taken me years to obtain elsewhere...if ever. And I feel I have made a few friends along the way. That is a good days work!! I try to contribute and have been told I was wrong on several occasions...and was! Good deal, cause I learned something. Sometimes I was right and was thanked for the help or info. Hang in there it'll all be okay someday. 100 years from now, nobody will really care about all this anyway!

I don't believe anything I say and only half of what you hear....
