    Default push-pull

    I just bought sh-1 '59 neck and sh-5 custom bridge; can i install the 'push-pull' on my guitar with these pickups??

    It depends on a few things. What do you want to do with the push/pulls? Split the pickups? Phase? Series/Parallel? Also, these can only be done it the pickups you bought are 4 conductor. I know that the 59 can be either 2 wire or 4 wire. Look at the wires coming out of the pickups. If there are 4, then you can do one of the above with a push/pull pot. If there is only one wire with a metal shield around it, then your out of luck.

    ^ yes, like praisegeetarman said. If it's 4 conductor you can split the coil to go from humbucker to single coil ... or series/parallel. I used one of my push-pulls on a fender with a 5 way switch to also put the bridge+neck on at the same time.

    So ... yes you can, you just need to decide what you want to do with it.
