Haggis....

Haggis....

I made a bet while hunting jack rabbits once. We made a gentlemens bet that I could make a jack rabbit edible and tasty. I tried my hardest to mask the disgusting taste by making sweet'n'sour jack rabbit on rice. It didn't work. It tasted like sweet'n'sour poo.
We spit it out and threw the whole mess away.
I've also played a joke on all my BBQ guests by skinning a big rattlesnake and cutting it into filets, telling the guests it was shark. They ate it, then I showed them all the big snake skin. A few of them were angry, and rest said "eh, at least I can say I ate rattlesnake, and it wasn't too bad."
Someone please explain what exactly is Haggis and Nalgai. Thanks.
I'm an internet person. All we do is waste time evaluating things that have next-to-zero real world significance.
Remember, it's just a plank of wood. YOU have to find the music in it - The Telecaster Handbook

Given the constraints - Venison, Rabbit, Frog Legs, Alligator Tail, Shrimp, Clams, Oysters, Octopus, Scallops and Squid.
The last 6 aren't fish. They are seafood, but not fish.

I tried shark a long time ago.
I had alligator a few months ago.
Turn me on, Dead Man.

Buffalo - Was decent, but nothing to really be too excited about.
Kangaroo - Meh. It's supposed to be healthy for you though, so I'll give it that.

I've eaten a piece of Rocky Mountain Oyster...
...and it was like chewing on a half square inch piece of basketball!

Lots of venison, groundhog, rabbit (wild and domestic), squirrel, minnows, frog legs, wild turkey, most of the seafood critters, plus some of the odd things my different GF's mothers would make--like lime Jello with pineapple chunks--with Miracle Whip on top (on purpose, they hadn't run out of Cool Whip).
I used to work at a power plant on the river, one year on the first day of deer season a wounded deer swam the river to our side, but was too weak to climb the bank. We had that thing butchered and wrapped before first break.
Bear. Not by choice. Way greasy.

Anyone tried dog? Just wondering...

You sir need my grandma's recipe for rabbit stew, or my grandfather's tips for cocking it over coal the traditional way...
Come to think of it, you guys need to learn how to make "kleftiko". You heat up this brick/solid mud outdoor oven using firewood at 9 o' clock in the morning, you put the meat and potatoes in at 10 o' clock and by 13:30 you have yourself the greatest, softest meat ever!
Is there anything similar in the USA? You guys sure have some exotic meat that I never tasted, and some nice sauses for them too!

I can't remember anything more exotic than whale. But for me, it isn't really exotic, as we eat it a few times a year.

Aint Shark Fish? .. Anyway Shark is not something that is exotic out here maybe it is in the USA but not out here... Neither is Buffalo ... hmm in exotic I have had Lobsters, Shrimps/ prawns ( you get a variety out here... ranging fromn excotic to something to common), crabs ( i dont like crabs), calamaries, squids, and my fav fried mussles.
