    Default Pictures of My Gibson

Finally got my Gibson set up by my tech. It required a fret levell, but the tech says the Fretless wonders will need to be refretted next time .Original pickups have been replaced by a Dimarzio Air Norton bridge, An HS-3 middle and an DiMarzio Air Classic neck. The guitar is a Gibson 1981 Victory MVX. Its a solid hard rock maple guitar. Its got H-S-H and the bridge and neck can be split. It has a five way combination switch for numerous tone possibilties. The burst is very pretty. Overall its in very nice shape.
I dropped the action as low as possible, but the way it was made its not able to get quite so low enough for my likeing, so I am going to sell it.

    It's a shame you're selling it.
    Looks great.
    How high is the action?

Not high. Its as low as the guitar was supposed to be , that is, I put the Tune o matic at the bottom of its travel. The neck is perfectly straight , but its just not as low as my Jackson gets, which is what I prefer, but the action is what most players would consider too low and would probably be raised.Yeah , Its too bad because this guiatr overall puts the Jackson to shame, although its maple, which is going to be on the bright side.

Yep that's why I asked to me it seemed like very low action, I would have to raise it.
Gibson made some really cool and original stuff in the past, I really like Victorys and Marauders, shame they don't make them anymore.
