Interesting topic of the week #2: What's your MPG?

I applaud any dudes who get 8 mpg in their 5.7 liter trucks, or 7.4 liter Oldsmobiles or whatever. If you can afford the gas, then by all means do it!

But most of us don't want to afford that much gas. So what's your current MPG? My Falcon gets around 28 on the freeway, but in town it's more like 18. Big gap there I know, but that's just the nature of the car.

Still, my first 150 miles were just barely over 5 gallons, that made me happy. And not to mention a combined 14 people who've randomly come up to me complimenting the car. San Pedro is a car town, so I wouldn't expect any less. Still, very cool!
