Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay!! I'm So Excited

I never thought that in my entire life I'd ever be excited about goin and seein a doctor or whatever. I'm just not a big fan. However, I finally got the call today about be bein able to get a direct shot on my herniated discs in/on my spine.

Dude from the Pain Management Group calls up today and apologized about it takin so long and all that crap. I was like, whataever man, that's cool....all the while thinking very sarcastic like.

He said they had two appointments open, one tommorrow and one on Friday. He asked me if I was an early riser. I knew what that meant. I said...man, I don't care if it's at 3:30 in the mornin dude, I'll be there.

Yaaaaaaaay!! I got an appointment to get shot up on my disc thingies tommorrow. I tell ya what, as soon as I got my appointment it was like a big ole cloud or something got lifted from me. I just felt alive!!

I'm sooo happy. I just thought I'd spread my joy man. I've been in such pain for almost a month now that it's driven me almost batty....and I'm bout halfway there anyways.

So, I just wanted to tell everyone how happy I am, and thank you all for listening to me freakin out for the past few weeks. I thank ya!!

I knew it'd all pan out in the long run.

Be carefull with those steroid injections, though, you will put on loads of weight like you wouldn't believe. Compared to the pain, I'm sure you won't mind.

I just got home man. I feel pretty sore in the nerve that they shot up. i'm kinda numb from the local. I tell ya what. What I thought was gonna happen and what happened were two totally different things. I thought they were gonna pop me in the back between the shoulder blades and hit the nerve and discs. They went through the right front of my freakin neck man. When that Dr. told me he was gonna do that I was like....huh?!!?? what?!!??!! I thought you were gonna shoot me in my back. He said no, I'm gonna go right through your neck.I would have loved to hve seen the look on my face at that moment....lol. Oh well, I just dealt with it. Anyways, I can feel inside of me where I got shot, but my outer skin and stuff is all numb. We'll see what happens. i'm gonna take it easy for a bit.

I've done the epidural steroid injections- and they're not fun. What is great is when they relieve the associated nerve pain.
