    Default People deleting threads

    It annoys me greatly.

People make valid contributions to these threads, then the original poster throws the toys out the pram and deletes it.

I'm sick of it. What am I gonna do about it?
Throw my toys out the freakin pram/ BABY CARRIAGE/ and post no more in any of that guys threads.

Some people don't like the drama. Like changing channels when the soaps come on.

You're talking about yourself I presume? Since you're the one that keeps changing channels (deleting threads) every twenty minutes?

YNG, what soaps do you enjoy every afternoon?

They are not manly enough for me to watch but, if you like em thats cool I guess.

Yall did bust up in his Yngwie thread flaming him.

Hammocks or not the dude can play. :-p. I don't like Metallica but when a thread comes up about Metallica EMG/mesa threads but I do contribute to them when asked questions about them. They started a tone that everyone wants and people like who they like

Guilty as charged! If a thread gets nasty I just delete it and move on. Some people like to hash it out and carry on like soap stars. I think it's a good policy.

I don't know or care if he was ever someone else on here. I'm just fed up of posting in threads only to find they're been deleted.
If I take the time to post in a thread it's a kick in the teeth to find my time has been wasted just cos some guy didn't like people saying Yngwie Malmsteen is overweight or whatever.
    It's really irritating.

I'm with the OP 100%. Allowing members to delete other members' posts is the single worst decision the administration has made on this forum. That's when I stopped posting anything useful in any equipment forums. You can pretty much assume that anyone can flush the time you put into being helpful right down the toilet for any reason they want.

Who says it's nasty? You? That's your opinion. I don't think it's fair that you should be deleting my thoughts just cos YOU think people are being "nasty" about Yngwie freakin Malmsteen.

Deleting threads not only rids the forum of uncivilized unwanted posts, but also rids the forum of posts of those wanting to help and answering with sincerity.

Those who are upset at loosing posts may want to keep those who delete posts in memory as it seems once you do it, you will do it again. Say to yourself, what's your time worth?

Edit: It would be very handy if the original poster could delete unwanted posts in a thread. Then all would not be lost.

Eh? I didn't understand that first post, are you saying Americans don't have prams?

NOTE the pram is the one on the left. The big blue one.

    The one with WHEELS.
